The Jewels That Raq are Orange County's Premiere Bellydance Group! The Jewels are a dynamic group of belly dancers based out of Orange County California.

The Jewels that Raq! Dinner shows and events, was created by founder and Director, Meliza.

The Jewels are multicultural, with various backgrounds in dance styles. Their dance styles range from Egyptian, Turkish, Lebanese, Persian, and Tribal Fusion. This professional group, always strive for perfection, yet remember it's all about having fun.

When it comes to the guests at your event, Meliza and The Jewels know not only how to entertain, but also to include everyone in the fun. "When we see the smiles on peoples faces, and everyone having a great time, we know we've done our job."

Meliza and The Jewels have performed at some of the most exquisite events throughout Southern California and have appeared on stage at some of the hottest night clubs, most elegant restaurants and luxurious parties.

The Jewels are all extremely talented soloists who come together to produce beautiful events and dinner shows called, "The Jewels That Raq!" Each member of The Jewels That Raq is named after a precious Jewel because of their uniqueness, beauty and talent.

Sharing the stage with Meliza, are Ruby, Onyx, Jade, Amber, Diamond, Pearl, Emerald and Sapphire.

As the producers of fine shows, The Mirage, along with the Jewels, can be seen in and around the nicest restaurants and clubs in the area. All shows are beautiful, elegant, energetic and exciting, with the use of multiple props, which may include fire, swords, snakes, wings, veils and zills. Some shows even include live musicians!
